Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world at 828 metres and the main symbol of Dubai. Its silhouette, inspired by the hymenocallis flower, combines bold engineering with motifs of traditional Islamic architecture.
Seen from above, the city opens up anew: by day, a scattering of skyscrapers and the line of the coast; at sunset, the gold of the desert giving way to the evening lights of the metropolis. Three levels of observation decks let you choose the scale of the experience — from the classic panorama to an exclusive lounge above the clouds.
What Awaits You
Silver, levels 124 and 125: observation decks at a height of 456 metres with the finest panoramas of the city.
Gold, level 148: an observation deck one level higher, with breathtaking views.
Platinum, levels 152–154: the highest lounge in the world at a height of 585 metres, with a cup of coffee or tea.
Ideal For
A first acquaintance with Dubai: the key stop on the itinerary of every visitor to the emirate.
Photography lovers: sunrise, sunset or the evening illuminations of the city from a bird’s-eye view.
Special occasions: a cup of coffee or tea in the world’s highest lounge on the Platinum level.

At the Top (124th/125th floor) gives you the same 360-degree Dubai skyline view as the SKY upgrade, at a lower price -- for most visitors it's the better value. SKY (148th floor) adds a higher vantage point, a more exclusive lounge experience, and shorter queues, which matters more if you're visiting at a busy time or want the trip to feel more premium. If budget is the deciding factor, At the Top delivers the view everyone comes for.
Sunset slots (roughly 30-60 minutes before sunset) are the most popular and sell out first -- book those well in advance. Morning slots are quieter with clearer daytime visibility and shorter queues. Night slots show the city lit up but lose the daytime skyline detail. If you want the golden-hour-into-night view without the sunset-slot premium and crowds, aim for just after sunset instead of the exact sunset slot.
The standard ticket covers entry and the observation deck only. Food and drinks at the deck's café, any photography packages, and hotel transfers are all separate. If you're combining with other Dubai attractions, check whether a combo ticket works out cheaper than booking Burj Khalifa alone -- see current ticket options below for what's bundled.
Yes -- the observation deck is wheelchair and stroller accessible, with high-speed elevators doing the climb rather than stairs, so it suits most mobility needs and all ages. The deck is outdoors with safety glass barriers; very young kids should be kept close given the height. There's no minimum age requirement, but infants and toddlers may find the queue and elevator pressure change uncomfortable.
