Kyoto Ankoan Tea House

Take part in a Japanese tea ceremony at Ankoan Tea House in Kyoto, near Daitoku-ji Temple. Watch a tea ceremony demonstration before learning how to prepare matcha yourself. Taste your matcha with wagashi, a traditional Japanese sweet, as part of an experience lasting at least 60 minutes. The session offers a hands-on introduction to the customs and techniques of Japanese tea culture.
